Primary Schools
In-Curricular Dance Provision
Creative and inspiring cross-curricular dance workshops which:
- are wholly inclusive, supporting ALL individuals to engage
- are inspiring and creative, igniting imagination
- are fun, energising and packed full of skill development
- are memorable learning experiences supporting pupils to retain and recall knowledge from across the National Curriculum
Our In-Curricular workshops provide engaging and inspiring creative dance experiences to any given year group/key stage, tailored specifically to the needs of your group, delivered by one of our experienced Blue Moose Dance Artists. Our person-centred and creative approach supports every individual to be engaged and to have the opportunity to express themselves to their full potential and be successful, whilst working at their own pace.
Workshops can take place over a series of weeks, exploring a cross-curricular subject or chosen theme (we can cover anything!), or can happen in a one-day intensive, in which we can support one or a combination of year groups to discover, learn and share their own opinions and ideas through dance and movement expression.
Our In-Curricular workshops also provide Staff with professional development opportunities as our Artists share new skills, ideas and optional shadowing opportunities to inspire confidence and creativity in your own delivery.
“The workshops were delivered with great energy and pace. They also helped me massively with warm-up and lesson structure ideas; particularly with challenging Year 6 pupils.”

Days of Dance, Choreography and Performance Provision
Supporting pupils to develop confidence and expression through the creation, rehearsal and performance of a dance piece.
Our Days of Dance are a huge hit! We can take over your school hall for the day, to create a dance-in-a-day! Working on any theme or concept, we guide pupils through set choreography made specifically for you, alongside engageing creative tasks for pupils to choreograph their own contributions. We finish the day with a dance masterpiece, ready to share in assembly, with families or even further afield!
We also work really closely with Sports Games and Sports Partnerships across the North West to choreograph festival and competition pieces for all ages, inspiring pupils in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to create impactful dance performances for the stage. For these choreography projects, we often work across a half term, or for two intensive days.
“The children thoroughly enjoyed all the dance sessions. The teachers have spoken highly of both dance teachers and we will defintely be looking to work with you again in the future.”
