South Yorkshire Youth Dance Company
Sarah worked as the Project Manager on the South Yorkshire Youth Dance Company project from June 2021 – August 2022, supported by South Yorkshire Dance Hub and Yorkshire Dance, with funding from Arts Council England.
Sarah brought her wealth of experience in delivering, managing and developing youth dance provision in community settings over the past 12 years to help establish a youth dance hub, made up of four satellite companies in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield. The project aimed to grow the provision available for young people from a range of experience levels and dance styles, establishing a thriving community for creative practice and potential progression for those who are interested in training and pursuing careers in the dance sector in the future.
